Today matt and I got a shocker of news. Yesterday we were told the news that no future parent wants to hear. That we may be losing our baby. We were told that my hcg levels were getting low and that the pregnancy may not be viable. They told me to stay positive. But it was hard because originally I had gone for an ultrasound but then they kept giving me the run around about my pregnancy. I walked out of that clinic scared and upset to the point where I couldn't hold back my tears. They sent us to another place to get an ultrasound leaving us with no answers and no sympathy.
We took the drive over the imagery center only to be told I wouldn't be seen until wednesday. I felt defeated and was fighting the urge to burst into tears. I guess the man felt bad for me and went ahead and pushed for me to be seen. So I got scheduled for Tuesday at 10:15.
Matt couldn't go with me because we were already trying to hurry to make sure he had most of his jobs done before we go on a trip this weekend. He wanted to be there but was also scared of what they might find.
so my close friend, K, went with me. She stayed positive through the whole thing and even paid for me to be seen. the man from yesterday was there and knew my face right away. He asked me how I was doing. I told him that I was holding on to hope that everything was going to be okay.
We didn't even have to wait that long and the man had a big smile on his face to give me reassurance. i went in and got ready for my ultrasound. I talked to the tech and told her my concerns and she did have a look of worry. but she reassured me that everything would be okay. so she put the gel on my belly and I held my breath and prepared for the worse.
Imagine our surprise when we saw a fully active baby that wasn't the one month along like I was told. I have been four and half months pregnant!!!!!
My baby wasn't only active but he was literally giving me all the signs that he was there. He was kicking my bladder and moving around like crazy.
He is healthy and that's what makes me happy.

I know this usually comes with a meme. but I decided to do something short and sweet. I'm not expecting much. I'm just hoping to have a good Christmas this year. PM me for the address please.

1.) fanfic with Hermione as the centric character. Ask me for someone to pair her with because I've been expanding my pairings lately when it comes to her.

2.) A Journal Jar. You guys know I'm a journal writer so having a journal jar filled with different things that can spark an entry or two for my journals would be awesome. It can be filled with anything...random pictures, quotes, questions, one word prompts (i like writing stories), and just anything.

3.) Show the people you care about how much you love them.

4.) surprise me. Whether its a letter, a card, or whatever, sometimes getting something random in the mail is awesome. I hardly get mail.

5.) Coloring books for my nieces and nephew. Nieces love anything Disney princess, Monster High, and Tinkerbell. My nephew likes Ben 10, Transformers and Power Rangers. I'm babysitting them again and I want something that can keep them entertained.

6.) Pencils. I use pencils a lot for writing.

7.) give someone who is having a bad day a big hug.

I had a really good birthday. Matt surprised me with a dinner at Gringo's with family and friends. I missed my mother in law greatly that day but I know she would have wanted me to be happy. I got a lot of journals that day so now I'm trying to figure out what to do with most of them. I know some of them will be everyday journals, well, I want all of them to be everyday journals. Each journal was unique and special because of who gave them to me. I'm going to name two of them for right now until I get some pictures of everything.

One journal was from my father in law. We are big Swamp People fans in this house. Our favorite Swamper is Troy Laundry and I love his saying 'Choot 'em'. Well, my father in law bought me a journal that had this saying a picture of a gator on the front. Its a black moleskine that's really pretty.

Another journal that sticks out is this Italy themed journal i got. My nieces, my nephew and my brother in law gave me this journal. Its another hardcover that's really cool. It has a map of Italy on the back cover. The kids were the ones to pick it out for me. :D
